Samantha is a part of our general counsel group in the Seattle office.  While in law school, Sam clerked for The Honorable Ed Prochaska and The Honorable Ronald White of the 17th Judicial Circuit of Illinois and worked for the Winnebago County Prosecutor’s office as a legal intern. After law school, Sam moved to the Seattle area and began doing civil litigation, focusing her practice on community association law beginning in 2016. Samantha is licensed in both State and Federal Court and has appeared in State courts in most counties in Washington.  She has extensive litigation experience, and an impressive track record.

Sam has been a member of the board for numerous non-profit organizations, including the City/County Planning Department for Belvidere, Illinois, the Boone County Council on Aging, and the City Finance Committee, to name a few.   She was also an elected Alderman for the City Council in Belvidere, Illinois.  Through these positions, Sam gained extensive, first-hand experience with organizations, community issues and management.  Sam's community involvement provided her the opportunity to refine her negotiation skills and to resolve more matters outside of litigation.

Sam's primary objective as community association general counsel is to find efficient, practical solutions for her clients while being mindful of her clients’ goals, both long- and short-term.  Sam prides herself on being a compassionate and diligent advocate through attentive and dedicated service to her clients, and finding unique and innovative solutions to problems.

Outside of the office, Sam enjoys traveling, hiking, spending time chasing her young twins, and training them to be future litigators.
