I am just writing to tell you how wonderful Barker Martin was to our HOA Board and our homeowners.
Facing the prospect of legal action against the builder of our condominium complex brought out many emotions; fear, anger and well, I personally felt a little stupid. How can a person buy a brand new home and in a less than a year have it falling down around them? Only I could be so dumb.
The folks at Barker Martin were quick to put us at ease an inform us that these emotions are normal and that we weren’t alone and in fact, we were part of a much larger group of condominium owners going through this very same process.
Dean Martin worked with us so that he understood our issues and then made sure that we understood them from a legal point of view. As the HOA Board, we needed to put away these emotions and proceed with confidence as leaders in this endeavor. Dean gave us that confidence.
Dean and his team met with our homeowners and answered all their questions and tried to set the expectation for what would turn out to be a 26 month process. We were always kept up to date on all changes in our case and they explained all of the options before us at any given time, whether they thought they were the best options for us or not. We felt that with their help, we were in control. With an incredible amount of work on Barker Martin's part we received a successful outcome. We couldn’t have been happier.

We were very fortunate to have Barker Martin, specifically Marlyn Hawkins, represent our association during our building defects lawsuit.
