Eric is the lead general counsel attorney in Barker Martin’s Portland office.  While Eric practices general counsel work exclusively, his background is varied.  He has served as a civil motions clerk for the Oregon Circuit Court, providing legal research and suggested rulings on a wide variety of procedural and substantive legal issues. He has also practiced in the areas of real estate, land use, construction law, and environmental law and litigation. Eric also served as an editor and contributor to the Oregon State Bar's revised Construction Law Continuing Legal Education deskbook. Eric serves his country ni the Navy Reserve. Eric enjoys spending his spare time with his family at the beach or at his small farm whenever possible.
