Our Firm
Bo Barker founded the firm in 1983. Today, our firm practices across the Pacific Northwest with ten attorneys and an equal number of experienced support staff. Although initially focused exclusively on condominium construction defect claims in Washington, Barker Martin has evolved into a full-service litigation and association general counsel firm. At Barker Martin, we are Experienced, Focused, Responsive, and Proven.
Experienced
Over 25 years ago, Bo Barker was the first attorney in the Seattle area to focus his practice on representing homeowners with construction defects. Today, Barker Martin’s ten attorneys continue that tradition, serving as industry leaders in warranty, insurance and construction defect claims and in the general representation of homeowner associations. Our clients benefit directly from the collective knowledge and experience that comes with decades of proven, successful and sound legal advice.
Responsive
At Barker Martin, we prioritize direct and timely communication with our clients. To this end, clients who hire Barker Martin have access to a team of professionals assigned to handle a particular matter, including a lead attorney, assisting attorney and dedicated support staff. This team approach ensures that our clients receive the individual attention they need – when they need it.
Focused
Representing associations is what we do. Unlike larger law firms with multiple unrelated practice areas, Barker Martin’s entire practice revolves around the representation of homeowner associations and preservation of their rights. Because we concentrate on these issues on a daily basis, we can more efficiently and proactively assist our clients.
Proven
We are proud of the results we have obtained on behalf of our clients. When you hire Barker Martin, you hire a team of experienced professionals who will work tirelessly to resolve your claim or issue in the most timely and efficient manner possible. In situations that require a lawsuit, Barker Martin has the experience and expertise to successfully prosecute your claim. To learn more, contact us for a list of references and case studies.
