Barker Martin believes in giving back to the communities where our employees, our clients, and our associates work and live. We assist those less fortunate by making a donation to the following organizations.
– Since 1972, the Bellingham Food Bank serves 6,000-6,500 people each month. Their mission is to reduce hunger in Bellingham by providing wholesome foods to those in need on an emergency or chronic basis and by educating the community on the problem of hunger.
(www.seattle-habitat.org) – Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization dedicated to eliminating substandard housing and homelessness worldwide and to making adequate, affordable shelter a matter of conscience and action.
(www.neighborimpact.org) – Since 1985, NeighborImpact’s mission is to break the cycle of poverty by helping remove barriers that prevent people from achieving economic self-sufficiency.
(www.sistersoftheroadcafe.org) – Sisters of the Road Cafe is a modern and welcoming cafe catering to the homeless. Its goal is to end homelessness and poverty forever.
