New Team Members Announcement

We don’t normally use this weekly blog to blow our own horn. Our goal is to be responsive to our clients’ needs and provide the best professional legal services in the industry. It is in this spirit that we would like to introduce you to our new employees, each of whom has joined the team here at Barker Martin with the express purpose of complementing our General Counsel, Litigation and Collection services. Drum roll please:

Alexis Ducich is an Association Attorney in the Collections Group of the Seattle office. Alexis assists condominium and homeowner associations in recovering unpaid assessments and enforcing their governing documents. Prior to joining the Barker Martin Team, Alexis provided general counsel to community associations, and most recently, was in-house counsel for a debt collection agency. A Washington native, Alexis got her BA from the University of Washington before obtaining her law degree at Syracuse University School of Law. After law school, Alexis continued her legal studies and earned an LLM in taxation through the University Of Washington School Of Law.

David Goldstein has joined the General Counsel Group as an Associate Attorney in the Seattle office. David was recently an associate attorney at real estate law firm based in Bellevue and has over 10 years of experience in the legal profession, including representation of homeowners associations. During law school, David clerked in the U.S. District Court for the Honorable Judge James P. Donohue, and worked in the Civil Divisions of both the King and Snohomish County Prosecuting Attorneys’ Offices. Prior to attending law school at the University of Washington, he spent six years as a paralegal for both criminal and civil attorneys at top-rated law firms.

Denise Bledsoe is a paralegal in Barker Martin’s Portland office. Denise has been an experienced paralegal for over 18 years in North Carolina where she has spent the past nine years handling complex litigation matters related to real property transactions and title insurance defense. Denise and her husband recently relocated to Portland from Charlotte and in her free time she enjoys cooking, baking and outdoor activities with her husband.

Debby Dance has joined our Collections Group as a legal assistant in the Seattle office. Debby has over 9 years experience in the legal field. Past positions include working for Seattle Municipal Court as and Administrative Assistant, King County District Court as a Court Clerk, as well as, a Paralegal for an established collections, foreclosure and bankruptcy law firm.
